Universal is equivalent software to our full version but intended for use outside of our geographic regions. It does not offer auto species ID, but it does give you access to the same parameter extraction we use in our classifiers. SonoBat Universal also has the same tools as the full version for batch processing of files for extraction of project wide information about your recordings.
The universal version of SonoBat also comes with the SonoBat Utilities suite. This suite includes tools for formatting your recordings correctly for archive and analysis, as well as interpreting the meta-data from common models of bat detectors.

SonoBat LIVE

  • Active monitoring tool for use with USB microphones. Real-time full spectrum classification has complete parity with SonoBat 4.
  • Visual observations can be immediately added to the metadata of your recordings.
  • All post processing happens during recording session. When you close down a recording session your evening summary report has already been processed and is available to the user.
